The work plan clarifies the results to be achieved and details the activities proposed to attain these results as well as outline the resources required to implement these planned activities.

The workplan in “e4 VET Community Portal” project is structured around 8 work packages (WP):

WP1: Establishment of the VET Community Portal. This WP is primarily aiming at providing the infrastructure – the VET Community Portal (VET-CP). The VET Community Portal is building on existing innovative Free and Open Systems and tool.

WP2: Needs Analysis of e-learning in VET. The aim of this work package is to involve stakeholders (Slovene VET institutions) and to identificate their needs. Methods which will be used for the implementation of the activities will be questionnaires and interviews.

WP3: Concept and Design of Training and Courses. The aim of this work package is the development of design concepts for teachers training identified in WP 2. Slovene partners will provide the sources for all courses and send them out to partners who will localize (translate and adapt to their culture, habits etc) them. The work will mostly be done online.

WP4: Marketing of VET Community Portal. The aims of this WP are the promotion and marketing of the VET-CP to the VET schools, inviting teachers in VET to cooperate in the project, publishing information about the project regularly (in monthly newsletters, brochures,...). Each partner should promote the VET-CP in their country by choosing some of the before mentioned activities.

WP5: Training of Target Groups. The aim of this work package is to train the target groups. E-course will run online with constant support of e-tutor. The other 2 courses will be held as a classic training in a classroom (F2F).

WP6: Development of e-learning Materials. The aim of this work package is the development and production of e-learning materials under the Creative Common License.

WP7: Dissemination and Exploitation. All partners will be responsible for disseminating and valorisating the project. All details regarding the lay-outs of promotional materials, media information, articles, etc. will be fixed at the first partnership meeting and the following of these rules will be monitored by the leading applicant.

WP8: Management of the Consortium and Quality Assurance. The primary mechanism to keep the project manageable by simple means is the esponsibility of individual partners for major self-contained components. The role of each partner is clearly defined in each work package and is in line with the technical and exploitation potential of the corresponding partner. Concerning our collaboration, standard management techniques (periodic internal progress reports and milestone checking) as well as web tools will be used as appropriate.
